The fact that older people fear death and suffering from depression may be more a myth than a reality. Unlike, the fact is that these people face any problems living loneliness active even after the age of 60 years.
The transition from middle to old age brings changes in emotional, and cognitive level. Many elderly have depression fearing death, because their children are gone from the paternal hearth, or because it occurs off their cognitive abilities. In some cases, emotional loads is profound and should not go unnoticed
